Bishop Alex Wabwile, with his wife Florence, and a group of ministers from Life Spring recently traveled to Tanzania at  the invitation of a local pastor in a village on the coast of Lake Victoria. While lodging with their gracious hosts, Bishop Alex and his team conducted crusades and various seminars targeting church leaders, women, and youth. More than 200 people accepted Christ as their Savior at the crusades. Those new believers will be discipled by the local church. In an example of just the kind of spiritual warfare that is being fought in these remote areas, a local female witchdoctor attempted to tamper with the team's van and  throw her own clothes into the water tank to contaminate the drinking water. While the woman continued to rant while naked, the team prayed with her. Eventually she came to her right mind and was delivered from the evil spirits that had controlled her. While she was certainly exhausted from the ordeal she is receiving continued prayer and comfort from the local church.  We praise God for His protection and provision on this trip. The women and youth were especially hungry for the messages the team taught. Pastor Florence also had a great opportunity to minister to the children. Leaders from other denominations attended some of the leadership seminars and were impressed with the wisdom and humility displayed by the Life Spring team. There is a great need for sound doctrine and teaching in this area and Bishop Alex has pledged to continue the relationship and help as the Lord provides. One of the greatest needs in evidence was the need for a church building to meet in. We ask all the Life Spring supporters to please join us in prayer for God's provision in this matter.
