Thanks to the generous donations of our supporters, Life Spring was able to provide much needed supplies to the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) at the Kipkaren camp in May. Since the post election violence broke out in late 2007, many residents have been forced to flee their homes and now live in makeshift tent cities around Kenya. The most heavily affected areas were in the west, where Life Spring is headquartered. A few months ago the Red Cross pulled out of Kipkaren leaving Life Spring as the only organization bringing supplies. Along with food and materials, Life Spring also offers comfort through teaching the truth of God's Word.
