Due to heavy rainstorms and hail damage to crops and animals, the Teso region of Eastern Uganda is suffering from extreme famine. Some are even resorting to suicide to avoid the hunger crisis facing their families. The Life Spring church in Mbale is willing and able to organize relief efforts if donations are received.
