During the conferences at Webuye, Kenya in December 2009 a strange and wonderful thing happened on the way to church. As the van carrying attendees made its way down the street a young woman jumped aboard and asked where it was going. The woman happened to be running from her family who had been torturing her for some time because of her Chrstian faith. After enduring horrors such as having rats thrown on her at night, people trying to suck her blood, and numerous beatings she found solace and friendship at the conference. At the conclusion of the meetings, Pastor Robert of Uganda and his family invited the woman to come and live with them. She was very grateful to be a part of a family that would love her and encourage her to grow in her new life. God is in the business of restoring lives and Life Spring is happy to be a part of what He's doing in Africa.
