The Feeding Program Nourishes

Not only does it nourish and fill empty tummies, but the staff nurture the hungry children with a sense of compassion and love.​

Each day, hundreds of local children gather to have some nourishing porridge, rice and beans. The people who distribute the food make sure the children feel welcome and loved. Nutrition is so important in the lives of these children. It is difficult to focus on other things when you are hungry. Making sure the children are fed allows them to focus on more important things such as school.

 

The feeding program is made possible by contributions from the local community, and donations from our supporters.
